Sammy “Any Two” George Takes Up Tom “Durrrr” Dwan’s Live Challenge.

Wednesday, 12 August 2009

In something of a suicidal twist, Sammy “Any Two” George, who shares the function of being the rich table donator at big games with his namesake Sammy Farha, has taken up Tom “durrrr” Dwan on his live heads-up challenge.

The terms of durrrr's live challenge state that at least 500 hands must be played, and both players must bring $500,000 to the table. Blinds will be at $500/$1,000, and the challenger cannot leave the game before reaching 500 hands; however, the challenger gets to choose the game (PLO or NL Hold'em).

George has made numerous televised appearances and is a regular in the £25/£50 game at The Grosvenor Victoria casino where Neil Channing et al make their living. His nickname, “Any Two,” should tell you a lot about his skills, or lack thereof. Either way, with his gamble and durrrr’s aggression, we should see some gigantic pots.
