Sam Trickett heads Partouche Poker Tour final table

Monday, 19 September 2011

The 570 runner field that started the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event has been whittled down to a final table of nine with Englishman Sam Trickett leading the way.

Just like the World Series of Poker Main Event, play was suspended once the final table was decided with the 'Neuf de Novembre' set to battle it out for over €3m in cash on 12 November.

Trickett will be the chip leader when play resumes with a stack of 2,605,000 but it's a highly congested leader board with no fewer that five of the final table of nine holding over 2m chips.

The full counts are as follows:

1. Sam Trickett 2,605,000?
2. Alexandre Coussy 2,473,000?
3. Salman Behbehani 2,446,000?
4. Mads Wissing 2,144,000?
5. Mustapha Kanit 2,047,000
6. Roger Hairabedian 1,890,000?
7. Oleksii Kovalchuk 1,626,000?
8. Ilan Boujenah 1,241,000?
9. Alexander Dovzhenko 944,000

The nine returning players are guaranteed a pay day of at least €100,000 with the winner walking away with €1m.
