SCOOP Titles for Luke Schwartz and George Danzer

SCOOP Titles for Luke Schwartz and George Danzer

Thursday, 15 May 2014

We haven't seen (or should that he heard) much of Luke Schwartz on the live circuit of late. In fact you have to go back to last year's WSOP Main event for the his last live cash.

The trash-talking Londoner has been keeping busy online though and collected his second SCOOP title earlier this week. Playing under his 'lb6121' moniker rather than the more familiar '_FullFlush_', Schwartz took down the $2,100 fixed limit, six-max event for a score of $59,944.

Schwartz outlasted 138-runner field and a final table that included notables such as Mike 'SirWatts' Watson and Paul 'paulgees81' Volpe before beating 'Alex987' heads up.

David Bach also added a SCOOP title to his impressive tournament CV after taking the Event #28-High ($2,100 Fixed Limit Triple Draw 2-7). The American made it a hat trick of series wins, beating Shawn Buchanan heads up for the win and the $39,425 first prize.

Rounding out the big name winner was PokerStars pro George Danzer added a fourth SCOOP winner's watch to his collection after winning the $2,100 PLO event.

If you missed Luke Schwartz the first time round, be sure to check out our 2009 interview. He doesn't hold back!
