Poker is set to hit the small screen after US network Fox commissioned a pilot episode of a comedy inspired by the game.

According to the Deadline Hollywood website, the new show is provisionally titled All In and will feature Ryan Reynolds as Tommy Vigorish, “a compulsive gambler trying to get back in the game with the help of his family… as long as that game does not involve the exchange of money.”

The pilot has been written by Allan Loeb whose film credits include Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Just Go With It and Rock Of Ages.
