Royal Vegas Poker (RVP) announces its participation in the Bluff Poker Tour (BPT), the world’s first international virtual poker tour. On Sept. 15 at 9:00 p.m. ET, RVP will host the weekly online tournament for registered players to compete for a chance to win buy-ins to three 2006 World Poker Tour (WPT) main events.
To sweeten the pot, Royal Vegas will award the winner of this tour event a 46” widescreen HDTV from Sony, featuring picture-in-picture and TruSurround® SRS® audio. Just in time for football season, this set will make the winner’s home the place to be on Sunday afternoons.
The Bluff Poker Tour consists of weekly Web-based No Limit Hold’em poker tournaments at a selection of the most popular and respected online sites. Designed to find the best online poker player in the world, the tournament operates on a point system with players receiving points for event participation and money finishes.
The top player at the end of the season will receive seats to three WPT competitions. Additionally, top point earners will automatically be entered in a consolation tournament to vie for one buy-in to a World Poker Tour event.
