Royal Partnership for Trickett

Royal Partnership for Trickett

Thursday, 10 January 2013

The currently sponsorless Sam Trickett has got himself a new agent. Britain's most successful tournament player has signed up with Poker Royalty for worldwide management and marketing representation.

“Poker Royalty works with some of the biggest names in poker allowing them to create the best opportunities no other company can provide”, said Trickett. “I am very excited and honoured to be working with them.”

Trickett, who was a triple award winner at last year's British Poker Awards, has career tournament earnings of over $17m including a $10m score in the Big One for One Drop at the 2012 WSOP. He's not too shabby in the cash arena either, being on the right side of some huge action in the big games in Macau.

“Sam is an immensely talented poker pro who is living the dream of every young poker player,” said Brian Balsbaugh, the founder & CEO of Poker Royalty. “Given our strong relationships with the world’s biggest gaming companies, Poker Royalty is ideally situated to identify the numerous poker-related sponsorship opportunities available to someone with Sam’s outstanding poker accomplishments.”

As a regular in the highest stakes cash games and tournaments, could Sam be set to join Tom Dwan, Gus Hansen and the red hot Viktor Blom at Full Tilt Poker. We shall see.
