Spanish football fans will get a chance to play with Brazilian football legend, Ronaldo, according to a recent announcement by PokerStars.
As part of the site’s commitment to the EPT, the members of “Team PokerStars SportStars” will be heading to Barcelona to take part in a special €5,000 Sit & Go. Forming part of the festivities at EPT Barcelona, which runs between August 26 and September 7, “The Phenomenon” will give two Spanish players a chance to win a prize package which includes accommodation, spending money and entry to the tournament. Daily freerolls are currently taking place and will lead to a final qualifier which will determine the two players making the trip to Barcelona. Also taking part in the tournament will be a number of other PokerStars pro who are as yet unnamed. PokerStars’ EPT Barcelona will take place inside the Casino de Barcelona and feature a slew of events, including the €5,300 Main Event which runs between September 1 and 7.
