Roger Johanessen wins Betfair Poker Live! London

Roger Johanessen took the honours at the latest Betfair Live! event at the Fox Poker Club in London over the weekend. The Norwegian, one of a hefty Scandinavian presence, outlasted a 148-player field to pocket a first prize approaching £15,000.
Johanessen sealed victory over Englishman
Leigh Ralph with the unlikely holding of 6-8. Ralph's AQ looked in great shape when the first card on the flop was an ace but the next two cards out were both sixes to give the Norwegian tournament winning trips. And what was the reasoning behind Johanessen's aggro style at the rapid fire final table? “I was thirsty!”. We assume he doesn't mean a nice cup of tea either.
