ZZ Top star Dusty Hill, Godsmacks's Sully Erna and Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley are among the celebrities who will play the world's poker kings at their own game in Las Vegas tomorrow, November 2.
The rockers will deal with poker professionals Phil 'The Unabomber' Laak and Antonio 'The Magician' Esfandiari, at the VH1 Classic Rock 'n' Roll Poker Tournament. Vinnie Paul from Pantera and Anthrax's Scott Ian will also face off with the experts at the Flamingo Casino's Second City Theatre.
The entrants will play for a $25,000 cheque for the charity of their choice as well as a seat in the 2007 UltimateBet Aruba Poker Tournament and a chance to be “VJ for a day” on VH1 Classic.
'I am proud to be working with the Flamingo and UltimateBet.tv to raise awareness and contributions for selected charities,” said producer Lisa Tenner.
Additionally, all players that are eliminated from the main event will have a second chance to win with a 'Heads Up' tournament in the adjoining Green Room where the first prize is a June 2007 cruise for two to Alaska.
