The Punta Gorda Riding Association in Desoto County, have just held one of the most bizarre poker games ever. The idea is actually pretty simple. Riders pay $10 to buy-in, head off on a marked trail and at seven different points reached into a blue bucket and pull out a sealed envelope containing a card. At the end of the day the player with the best hand wins and the charity gets some publicity for holding a truly insane version of the world’s favourite card game. Some folks loved it so much they went back and did it again. Surely, someone, somewhere wants to launch this as a national sport.
