187 players gathered at Dusk Till Dawn for Day 1B of the Monte Carlo event taking the grand total up to an impressive 291, easily covering the £250k guarantee.
65 of the 187 Day 1B starters survived with Richie Allen leading the chip counts on 208,000 at the close of play. Other notables to make it through to Day 2 were John Eames 183,300, Julian Thew 143,700, Cuong Tran 140,700, Scott Montgomery 92,400, Bambos Xanthos 84,500, Jon Kalmar 77,200 and Toby Lewis 62,800. A total of 107 players will be back for Day 2 which starts at 2pm today. The top 27 finishers will make the money with the min cash set at £1,500.
