Record-Breaking Poker Den Starts

PartyPoker’s UK cash game made a return to TV screens last night, seeing players buying in for $10,000 and playing $25/$50 No-Limit Hold ‘em.
Instead of the usual 24-hour cash game format, this edition will be 36 hours long; shattering all previous records.

“We’ve been told that Phil Laak has spent all weekend mentally preparing for the game and that he intends to try and make TV history and sit in the game for a record breaking 36 hour stint! PartyBets was going to introduce betting on whether one of the top professionals could play the whole duration but with others like Neil Channing also rumoured to want to give it a go too we are loathe to give them too much encouragement,” a PartyPoker spokesperson said.
Some big names expected over the course of the record-breaking 36 hour game include Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott, Robert Williamson III, David Williams, Roland de Wolfe, Neil Channing, Brian Townsend, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Mike “The Mouth” Matusow, and Jennifer Tilly.
