Reality TV veterans Rob and Amber Mariano of 'Survivor: Marquesas' 'Survivor All-Stars' and 'The Amazing Race' are set to enter into the most challenging phase of their young marriage. Rob will risk their joint earnings by becoming a professional poker player.
The Fox Reality channel will track the ups and downs of this charismatic couple in a brand new original series for cable and satellite television. The new Fox Reality Original, 'THE ROB AND AMBER PROJECT ' is a series of ten, half-hour shows which will start to air in January 2007.
'THE ROB AND AMBER PROJECT' will allow viewers to peek into the couple’s private life be it from the confines of their master bedroom to super-secret poker dens in Vegas. Ultimately, the show will test Rob and Amber’s ability to withstand the pressures of their new life, celebrity friends and poker elite, without destroying their domestic relationship.
“The show, like Rob and Amber themselves, will embrace the spirit of our network,”
said David Lyle, Fox Reality COO & General Manager. “We are proud they chose Fox Reality for their first reality show outside the broadcast world.'
