RealDealPoker.com to replace Random Number Generators with real cards

Tuesday, 1 December 2009

There’s a new kid on the online poker block and it’s offering something that other poker sites don’t, namely, using real cards rather than random number generators.

RealDealPoker.com, which launches in February 2010, aims to replicate the feeling that players get in card rooms, casinos and home games by using a fully automated, real card dealing system that scrambles, shuffles and deals real decks of cards, digitizes the results and then translates them to its online poker table games.

Gene Gioia, Founder and CEO of Gioia International Limited, creators of the Cut N Shuffle system said, “This is a unique moment in the company’s history. In addition to assembling a first rate management team, we have found in Red Planet Gaming Inc a partner who shares our passion for bringing a truly fair game of poker to players around the world and changing the face of poker online as we know it today.”

Software integration and testing is ongoing but players can sign up and reserve user names already.
