So far the field of 406 has fallen short of tournament director Matt Savage’s prediction of a 450-strong field. However, registration is open until noon on Day 2 and what’s more, the entrants are enough to give the winner a $1m first prize.

Randy Dorfman is currently leading the field with a stack of 160k but he’s got competition from big names. Todd Terry is enjoying his run of Pokercast Karma to arrive in fourth place on Day 2 while Lauren Kling, Noah Schwartz and Ali Eslami all built above-average stacks.

Day 2 begins with blinds at 200/400 and a 50 ante with an average chip count of 42,000 from the 20,000 starting stack. Day 2 kicks off this afternoon (GMT) where the field will play down further and a definitive prize pool will be announced.

The top five chip counts are as follows:

1.Randy Dorfman – 160,000
2.Nicholas Grippo – 149,375
3.James Caroll – 130,925
4.Todd Terry – 124,975
5.Seth Davies – 115,225
