RIP BlackBelt Poker

RIP BlackBelt Poker

Tuesday, 25 February 2014

We're sad to report that the Black Belt Poker online poker room and community will close its doors at midnight on Friday 28th February.

Black Belt founder Neil Channing confirmed the news in a blog post at BlackBeltPoker.com.

“Sadly sometimes in life you just have to accept that things are not working and you need to move on. That time has come with Black Belt Poker,” wrote Bluff's regular columnist.

Neil confirmed that all site balances are safely ringfenced and players will be able to withdraw their cash as normal up to Friday. From Saturday onwards, players will need to contact Black Belt's partner and cashier cage provider Boyle Poker who will process the remaining cash outs.

Discussions are currently ongoing with another iPoker skin regarding how Black Belt Spending Points can be reclaimed.

“All that remains is for me to thank everyone who invested, who worked hard for us, who were sponsored by us, who participated in poker discussions on our website and particularly those who played on Black Belt Poker,” was Neil's parting farewell.
