It’s a rule of big business: wherever there’s a boom, every other industry that can get a piece of the action is right there looking to clean up any of the loose change that’s floating around.

It’s a rule of big business: wherever there’s a boom, every other industry that can get a piece of the action is right there looking to clean up any of the loose change that’s floating around. And, such is the case with online poker and the publishing industry right now. Sure there are plenty of books offering tips on how to play Texas Hold ‘Em with your friends round the table, but with record profits made last year from online business, publishers are looking to develop new titles to cater specifically for internet players.
Poker columnist, Steve Rosenbloom is set to release ‘Online Ace’ as an aside to his previous big seller, ‘The Best Hand I Ever Played’. This is hot on the heels of Doyle Brunson’s ‘Online Poker’ which was released in 2005. Moreover, if you visit eBay, there are also a slew of e-titles, essentially people flogging their poker tips online rather than you learning them yourself. Either way, it’s another example of online poker’s growing reach and importance in global business.
