Full Tilt Poker has confirmed that one of poker’s premier couples – David Benyamine and Erica Schoenberg – have joined its team of world-class pro players.
Benyamine, a French native who has long been known as one of the poker world’s most successful cash game players, brings an aggressive style and impressive resume to Full Tilt Poker, including two World Poker Tour titles and several final table finishes.
Joining Benyamine, both at and away from the Full Tilt Poker tables, is his fiancé and fellow poker pro, Erica Schoenberg.
Schoenberg began playing professional poker in 2005 and quickly established herself as one of the most talented young players in the game. In less than two years, she has made the money in a number of prestigious events, including posting an impressive fifth-place finish at the 2006 Five Diamond World Poker Classic.
“David Benyamine’s record in cash games and tournaments places him firmly among the game’s elite,” said fellow Full Tilt Poker representative Howard Lederer. “Erica Schoenberg has shown flashes of brilliance in her young career, and under David’s tutelage she is sure to become one of the elite female players in the world. I am thrilled to welcome them both to the team.”
