PokerStars to launch Zoom Poker in mid March

Tuesday, 6 March 2012

Zoom Poker, the “fast-moving ring game product” developed by PokerStars to fill the void left by Rush Poker, will be open for real-money beta testing within the next week or so.

Zoom Poker is currently available for beta testing in play money at testpokerstars.com. A spokesman for PokerStars stated on TwoPlusTwo.com that their development team is “finalising the last few details” before it is rolled out for real money play.

Today’s update also brought two new features to the table – a sit out next BB feature as well as a “fold and watch” button, which allows you to fold your hand but instead of instantly being moved to another table, you remain and watch the hand play out.

Normally, as soon as you fold (even if you “quick fold” ahead of turn) you will be moved to another table and dealt a new hand. Players have been racking up 200-300 hands per hour on each table.

Join the Zoom action at PokerStars with a 100% first deposit bonus of up to $500. Sign up here.
