PokerStars releases 2011 Caribbean Adventure schedule

Wednesday, 6 October 2010

We always love a nice five-figure buy-in tournament to rail and the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure never fails to disappoint. Last year, Harrison Gimbel became $2.2m richer after besting a field of 1,529 players – five of them became dollar millionaires.

This year as well as the $10,000 Main Event there are some really special tournaments on the cards – never mind the preliminary events that include Stud, Omaha and Draw poker; the real attraction for the pros is a $100,000 Super High Roller event that is sure to attract the cream of the crop.

“The PCA is truly a poker player’s paradise. Each January, thousands of players descend upon Atlantis to take part in the first major tournament of the year,” said Michael Ward of PokerStars. “Last year’s event produced over $24 million in total prize money and, without a doubt, the PCA 2011 is going to be richer than ever. The PCA is a must-play event for both the recreational and the professional player.”

Satellites for the event are running now on PokerStars – the more ambitious of you can qualify to the event for just 1 FPP.
