PokerStars pros to star in The Million Dollar Challenge

A clash between a group of amateur online qualifiers and the assorted might of the Team PokerStars Pros would seem a little one sided, especially if broadcast on TV. How would the amateurs cope if they’d had some tuition from a top pro though? A Daniel Negreanu perhaps. Well that’s the scenario for Fox’s new show The Million Dollar Challenge.

The qualifier has to first beat the Team PokerStars then in a Darth Vader versus Obi Wan Kenobi style showdown the pupil will have to face the master. If the qualifier goes on the beat Negreanu they stand to win a cool $1m.


Players who fancy their chances can qualify via daily freerolls on PokerStars. They’ll also need to submit a two-minute video clip saying why they should be chosen for the show.
