Women's only events have been a regular feature on the live poker circuit and now PokerStars has taken that concept online with the launch of a new Women's Poker League.
The League will run until the end of this year with points awarded according to results. Players with the most points at the end of each month (and the year) will be rewarded with some fantastic prizes including of cash and PokerStars Ladies Luxury Event Packages.Special tournaments will run at 6.10pm and 2.10am (UK time) with buy ins starting from just $5.50. Points will be awarded in each event with with the winner taking 20 down to 10 points for the ninth place finisher. Any player who makes the money in each tournament will earn 5 points with all participants earning one point just for taking part.At the end of each month the top 50 finishers will earn a cash prize with the winner pocketing $300 or €200.
