PokerStars confirm EPT season 7 schedule

PokerStars confirm EPT season 7 schedule

Thursday, 13 May 2010

After the roaring success of the last European Poker Tour, including the largest ever EPT event won by the beautiful Liv Boeree to keep up Britain’s presence in the poker world, PokerStars have gotten straight down to business with announcing the next EPT, which begins in August.

Tallinn, Estonia, will get us started with a €4,000 event before return visits to Portugal, Austria, Berlin and – of course – London, on September 29. In January the annual PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $10,000 event will supply the biggest prize pool.

John Duthie, CEO and EPT Founder, said: "The EPT just gets bigger and better every season and it shows the passion and enthusiasm players feel for our events. Season 6 had a thousand more players than in Season 5 and we expect the numbers to keep on growing. The prize pool last season was well over €56 million - a €4 million increase on the previous year. Side events also proved a major attraction in Season 6 and we expect participation in these to increase even more next season."

The EPT has four-figure buy-ins and six figure prize pools, but that doesn’t stop you from qualifying for just a few quid. Check the satellites/events tab at PokerStars.
