PokerStars WCOOP Begins Today

The seventh edition of the PokerStars WCOOP is underway with nine new events joining 24 others. The series offers all variety of events, with the series culminating with the $10 million guaranteed No Limit Texas Hold'em Main Event between 21st – 22nd September.
The buy ins to the events vary from $215 to $10,300 for the high rollers. Of course, we can’t all afford to divvy up $10k too often, which is why there is a whole wave of satellites running as we speak. There are bumper guaranteed prize pools, with seven of the events boasting a prize pool of $1m or more.
While the huge cash games seem to reside on Full Tilt at the moment there is no doubt that the PokerStars WCOOP series is still at the top of the tournament calendar. Expect to see the Team PokerStars players out in their masses, while pros who normally reside at other sites may head over with the lure of huge prize pools. Lots of cash, online and live pros in their masses… this is going to be another interesting little series.
