The Mediterranean resort of San Remo played host to the latest leg of the PokerStars Italian Poker Tour earlier this week with home favourite Alessandro Meoni taking the honours.
Meoni pocketed an impressive first prize of €166,000 after outlasting a field of 375-runners at in the €2,000+€200 buy-in event. The PokerStars Supernova Elite faced Rafaelle Bertolucci, who had bought in using FPPs, heads up for the title and sealed victory when his AK held up against his fellow Italian's 10-9.
