PokerStars has added another female faces to its roster of pros in the form of Barcelona native, Leo Margets.

The Spanish pro has been a firm fixture on the poker circuit for a number of years and will fill the gap left by fellow countrywoman Ana Marquez who parted with the company last year.


Before accepting PokerStars’ offer of a contract, Leo began her pro career under 888Poker’s banner before parting ways and enjoying a brief stint with Lock Poker.


To date, Leo’s biggest achievement is her 27th place finish in the 2009 WSOP where she earned the distinction of being the last woman standing as well as $352,832.


Since then Leo has been a scooped a multitude of cashes both in Europe and internationally, taking her lifetime earnings to $770,274.


Leo’s first task as a new Team PokerStars member was to join Liv Boeree on her recent race to the top of London’s Tower 42.
