PokerStars Headed for the French Riviera

For those that don’t want the summer to end PokerStars might just have the perfect solution.

Always keen to give the poker community a chance to experience a world-class poker tournament in a plush setting, the site will be hosting the France Poker Series in Cannes next month.

Set to kick off on September 23 and offering a 250,000 prizepool, the 1,100 tournament will feature a number of prominent French grinders, such as Julien Brecard, as well as a number of international travellers looking for some fun in the sun.

Although one of the smaller European tours, the FPS expects around 400 players to descend upon the French Riviera and take part in a range of side events flanking the main draw.

Commenting on the event, PokerStars’ Brecard said: “Cannes is one of the best cities in France to play poker. In September, the weather is really nice and we will be able to go to the private beach PokerStars rents for the festival. I really love playing the FPS, the atmosphere is very special. I think some players come for the partying as much as they come for the tournament!”

Qualifiers are currently running on PokerStars.fr and PokerStars and you can take advantage of Bluff Europe’s exclusive deposit offer by clicking here.
