Top Dutch pro poker player Noah Boeken has signed up with Team PokerStars.
26-year old Boeken, one of the world’s most talented young players, has joined the exclusive team of international faces including WSOP Champions Joe Hachem, Greg Raymer and Chris Moneymaker.
A pro for just over 3 years, Noah was previously regarded as one of the best ‘Magic: The Gathering’ players, competing in competitions all over the world playing the role-playing card game. He soon made the transition to poker and in 2005 landed his first title, the EPT event in Copenhagen, winning 150,000 Euros. He is currently ranked no.2 on the all-time EPT Tournament Leader Board.
A successful online presence playing under the tag “Exclusive”, Boeken has won the PokerStars ‘Tournament Leader Board’ prize for best player on the site on three separate occasions.
Along with his mentor “The Flying Dutchman” Marcel Luske, Boeken gives poker lessons to Dutch celebrities on a televised show called ‘Veronica Poker’. Also airing shortly, their life as professional poker players will be the subject of a fly on the wall documentary called ‘Poker Kings’, broadcast on Talpa TV in Holland.
