Online poker giant PokerStars has announced the guaranteed cash prize for its Sunday warm-up tournament. And players can look forward to an increase from $250,000 to a massive $350,000 for the online event.
The $215 Sunday warm-up, which kicks off each week at 12.45 ET (17.45 GMT), is the fastest growing multi-table tournament on PokerStars. The Sunday warm-up precedes the PokerStars.com Sunday Million, the biggest weekly tournament in the world, a $1 million guaranteed no-limit hold'em tournament.
Players can qualify for the Sunday warm-up tournament via satellites running every day of the week, with buy-ins starting from only $3.
Elsewhere, PokerStars is still sending online qualifiers to the German Open EPT event in Dortmund (March 8-11). The event has officially sold out with the Dortmund Casino not taking any further direct buy-ins for the 500 seat tournament.
There are still seats available for the Warsaw EPT (March 14-17) and the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo (March 29-April 1).
