PokerStars EPT London schedule announced

Tuesday, 9 August 2011

The PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) London Festival Of Poker has been announced for 2011 with more than 30 events set to keep players occupied from September 30 until October 6.

Buy-ins range from the £120 hyper-turbo event to the £20,000 High Roller event with the £5,250 Main Event crowning it all.

Last year, Scottish midstakes grinder David Vamplew beat out a field of 848 players to take down a first prize of £900,000. Not only that, but he won the UKIPT Champion of Champions event the very next day meaning that he’s freerolling on his title defence.

Once again, the event will take place at the Hilton Metropole in Edgware Road with cash games going on over the street at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino.

“I’m so excited that the EPT London Festival Of Poker is just around the corner,” said PokerStars Pro and former EPT San Remo champion Liv Boeree.

“It marks a year since I joined Team PokerStars Pro and it was one of the best poker tournaments I’ve ever played in.”
