PokerStars EPT Berlin begins today

PokerStars EPT Berlin begins today

Tuesday, 2 March 2010

Last year in Germany, Bavarian babe Sandra Naujoks beat 667 players to take down a €917,000 first place prize and join Vicky Coren on the very short list of Hot Girls Who Won EPTs In Their Home Country.

In addition to Naujoks’s performance last year, three German players overall reached the final table and took the top three spots. Of course the German poker community will be hoping for a repeat of that performance in 2010.

However, it won’t be easy. Sebastian Ruthenberg, Benjamin Kang, Johannes Steindl, Arnaud Mattern, Katja Thater, Tom McEvoy, Victoria Coren, William Thorson and Jude Ainsworth are expected to be representing PokerStars in Berlin, making it a tough field indeed.

PokerStars have guaranteed a €1,000,000 first prize and a legal entry age of 18 should help create a record-breaking field. Bluff Europe will guess that 769 players will wind up in the tournament.
