PokerStars' dream of opening a dedicated in poker room in Macau took another step forward recently after the site announced their project would be complete by April 19.
After striking a deal with one of the Macau’s largest casinos, PokerStars LIVE at the City of Dreams will become the site’s third LIVE venue. To help launch the room with a bang, PokerStars annual Macau Poker Cup will be held inside the complex from April 19 onwards. While this latest project isn’t PokerStars’ first foray into the Macau poker scene – they previously had associations with Grand Waldo and Grand Lisboa – it will be their first fully dedicated venue.Commenting on the new facilities, City of Dreams senior VP Steven Webster said: “We believe ‘PokerStars LIVE at the City of Dreams’ will significantly enhance the face of the Macau Poker scene” and “provide a sophisticated yet fun atmosphere”.Keep up to date with all the news from the poker world by following us on Twitter and Facebook.
