PokerStars APPT Macau playing down to the money

Friday, 21 May 2010

Yup, that’s right – even now they’re still playing and have been for quite some time now. Apparently playing down to the money bubble of 40 was more problematic than first anticipated with over 100 players still remaining.

Currently the remaining players are on level 12 of play, 1000/2000 blinds and a running 200 ante. The money bubble bursts at 40 spots but a well-structured tournament is a hard thing to rush.

Brit Darren Judges is still representing well over there, boasting a respectable 192,000 chips that puts him in third place out of the remaining 138 players. Mikhail Mazunin leads the field with over 210,000 to his name.
PokerStars pro Raymond Wu was just eliminated, stealing with J9o and running into JJ. He couldn’t hit miracle trips or a straight and was promptly sent to the rail.

Sorry about the time zones, readers – join us tomorrow to find out the thrilling conclusion to Day 2.
