The PokerStars Australia New Zealand Poker Tour stopped in Darwin at the SKYCITY Casino this past weekend with two opening flights attracting a total field of 64 entrants. A total of 47 players will begin Day 2 action tomorrow with Day 1b wrapping up in the early hours of this morning GMT.

Roy Hills is at the top, bagging up 61,850 after Day 1a. On Day 1b the biggest mover and shaker was Aaron Benton, who managed to accrue 58,075 chips during five levels of play. The two fields unite tomorrow for 47 players to attempt to reach a final table.

Recent ANZPT champion Marcel Schreiner is still alive in the field as are a plethora of PokerStars qualifiers, looking to change their $5 or few FPPs into a huge score. The prize pool has yet to be announced but we’ll bring you updates when we receive them.
