A new online raffle site, PokerRaffle.com, has been launched. The latest entry in the increasingly crowded online poker market offers real money online raffles for high profile on-and-off-line poker tournaments, including the World Series of Poker (WSOP) $10,000 main event. Being the first site to enter this market should bode well for PokerRaffle.
The real money transaction on PokerRaffle.com is conducted using Netellwe. When a player creates an account, they can browse the raffles and select the number of tickets they want to buy. When they go to check out, players enter their Neteller account information and make a one-time purchase.
The site has launched with a guaranteed WSOP Main Event raffle with a ticker price of $10. In addition, PokerRaffle will run raffles on Paradise Poker’s $1.5 Million “Masters” tournament and the Pokerstars weekly Sunday $200+$15. PokerRaffle also has “bankroll raffles” where the prize is something like “$500 on Pokerstars.”
