Pacific Poker and PokerNews.com have announced a $7,500 UK Poker Open freeroll which will take place on September 10 at 13:00 EST.
The winner of the freeroll will receive a $7,500 package which consists of a $5,000 buy-in to the UK Poker Open

The 2006 UK Poker Open will take place from September 25 to October 8 and will be held in Maidstone, UK. The unique format will see a field of 108 players divided into 18 six-player heats, with each heat winner progressing to one of three Semi-Finals. The top two out of each Semi-Final will progress to the Final, where the winner will take away the lion’s share of the $500,000 prizepool. All heats through to the Final will be televised, giving the online qualifiers a great chance to make their mark on the poker world.
To qualify for entry, players must first download Pacific Poker through the special links at the PokerNews site and must create a new real money account. After players have made their first deposit (minimum $50), they must then earn 250 Pacific Poker Points before 00:00 EST on September 6 to be able to enter.
