Real Dice Inc. today added another facet to mobile gaming, with the release of mobile multiplayer poker games and Real Dice World social Gaming community for RIM Blackberry devices. BlackBerry users can now stream Real Dice World and all Real Dice games directly to their handset by pointing the phone's web browser to http://wap.realdice.com. The launch follows the recent release of Real Dice World, the industry’s first cross-platform mobile gaming community, which allows gamers to challenge opponents using Palm OS, Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone devices around the world. “Real Dice games highlight the high resolution screens and Internet capabilities of the newest smart phones on the market by providing a graphically rich and connected service through which gamers can interact over a casual Chess match, a heated Poker tournament or a stimulating Sudoku race, all from their mobile device,” stated Guy Ben-Artzi, director of game development at Real Dice Inc. The new technology allows players to benefit from social networking features such as buddy lists, shareable custom profiles, on and offline messaging, and a dynamic Hall of Fame, where players can check their standing relative to other gamers, participate in tournaments for prizes and even schedule private gaming sessions.
