Another top class field was in attendance for heat three of Full Tilt Poker Million yesterday. Once again top class American talent went up against the best that Britain and Europe has to offer and in the end there was a home victory as Tony Bloom took the honours.

Mike Matusow was the first to hit the rail after his pocket nines couldn't outrun Roberto Romanello's Queens. The second loudest mouth at the table was the next to go as Tony G lost a race with pocket nines to online qualifier Steven Merrifield. Roberto Romanello went next, followed soon after by the Devilfish. Pocket nines had proved unlucky for The Mouth and Tony G but they proved handy for Annette Obrestad who eliminated Merrifield who had pocket sevens. Annette went soon after though, unable to crack Erik Seidel's pocket aces.

That left the multiple WSOP bracelet winner heads up against Tony Bloom. Seidel had a three to one chip lead at the start of two-handed play and managed to extend that to six to one at one stage. The Lizard hung in there though and with a couple of timely double ups got back into contention. The end came with Bloom holding A6 and Seidel J9. The board 8Q9 gave the American hope but an ace on the turn sent Bloom through to his third Poker Million final. Seidel goes through to the runner up heat in October.
