Poker Million final live on Sky Sports tonight

Friday, 4 December 2009

The live final of this year’s Full Tilt Poker Million will be shown on Sky Sports 2 from 7.30pm tonight. Luke Schwartz is in prime position to take the title, holding a chip stack of 397,000. November Niner James Akenhead is next on 338,000 followed by Taylor Caby on 202,000, Dag Martin Mikkelsen on 160,000, internet qualifier Peter Vasiliou on 154,000 and Juha Helppi on 149,000.

Bookmaker Blue Square has priced up tonight’s action with Schwartz the 2/1 favourite. Akenhead is 9/4, Caby 5/1, Mikkelsen 6/1, Helppi 9/1 and qualifier Vasiliou the outsider at 10/1. The quick structure should mean plenty of action and the formbook could be turned on its head. If you think that ‘_FullFlush_’ will be the first to exit then you can get odds of 10/1.

Taylor Caby could have the most popular support though. The American is offering players 1% of his earnings free via a CardRunners promotion. All you have to do is become a member of the training site.

Tune in at 7.30pm to see who will join John Duthie, Jimmy White, Donnacha O’Dea, Tony Jones, Raj Modha, Joe Beevers and Marty Smith in the very select Poker Million winner’s enclosure.
