‘No Limit’, a feature length poker documentary, has scooped the award for 'Best Director (ensemble)' at the Australian International Film Festival.
Directed by Tim Rhys and Brian O'Hare, ‘No Limit’ is a true story that follows two single parents who decide to chase their very own version of the American dream – an eight-month journey down the poker tournament trail. Their mission ends in Las Vegas at the biggest tournament of them all, The World Series of Poker with highs and lows along the way.
The documentary is billed as an unprecedented and insightful window into the world of high stakes poker and it features words of wisdom from over 40 of the top players in the world including the likes of Doyle Brunson, Phil Gordon, Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu.
The Australian International Film Festival result follows rave reviews in the US. 'These guys are like the last American cowboys – there are some great stories told,' proclaimed USA Today.
A trailer for the documentary is available to view at the YouTube website.
