The idea to combine Playboy and poker seems a no-brainer and if anything, a dream come true. Accordingly, one can safely say that 2003 World Series Main Event champion Chris Moneymaker, seems to have lived up to his unusual surname with the venture after his company, Moneymaker Gaming, signed a partnership with Playboy Enterprises.
Beginning humbly with a range of poker products that included poker chips with Playmate logos and pictures, Moneymaker and Playboy’s latest offering to the poker-playing masses is anything but basic. The champ is hoping to trump other poker training courses by running his own unique training, complete with a finale at the Playboy Mansion itself.
From January 21, Moneymaker Gaming will host the “Playboy Poker Camp” which will be billed as a long weekends of cards, instruction, and parties. With packages starting at a huge $5,000, this won’t be cheap. However, trainees will get tuition from some of the top names in poker like Flack, David Williams, Jim 'Krazy Kanuck' Worth, and Moneymaker himself.
Playboy pin-ups will also be on hand to help with the proceedings at the renowned Playboy Mansion.
