Pokermashup.com, a recently launched Web site, allows poker players to find the ten nearest live poker games from any location. The new site sorts casinos by distance and includes driving directions and links to each casino's website.
'Pokermashup.com was designed to serve a need that other poker sites were leaving out,' said Jay Sandhaus, co-founder of pokermashup.com. 'This site is for the traveler who is always looking for a nearby card room wherever they go, or for a new player to the game who is trying to find where to play in their area.'
Users enter a zip code in the search field and pokermashup.com returns a map with all casinos, including a list of the casino names, their approximate distances from the zip code, links to the casinos and driving directions. There is also an option for users to give feedback and add information on new poker rooms and the site is free to use.
'We hope users will take advantage of this feature and keep us informed of the most current places to play,” says Sandhaus. “We'd also like to hear how this site is working for users and any suggestions they may have to make pokermashup.com better and more convenient.'
