Philip Porter wins Palm Beach Big Game

Philip Porter has got his 2012 off to a flying start after winning the opening Palm Beach Big Game of 2012. Porter bagged a first prize of £13,525 after outlasting a top class 68-runner field that featured the likes of James Akenhead, Praz Bansi, Sam Trickett, James Dempsey, David Vamplew, Chris Moorman, Hendon Mobsters Ross Boatman and Joe Beevers and newly patchless John Duthie.

Porter worked his way through a final table that included Andrew Teng, Ian Woodley and World Heads Up Champ Nik Persaud before defeating Ariel Adda heads up.
