Phil Galfond's apartment up for sale

Monday, 27 February 2012

An unlikely beneficiary of the exodus of online poker pros from the USA has been the real estate industry. One New York agent stands to gain a very chunky commission courtesy of Phil Galfond's New York apartment which has just gone on the market.

Galfond has relocated to Canada to resume his online career and his swanky East Village penthouse is on the market for a cool $3,990,000. The eventual buyer will get four bedrooms and four bathrooms for their almost $4m as well as access to a pool, a games room and a private roof deck. Have a nose here.

MrSweets28 has been missing from the high stakes action in recent weeks but confirmed his return on Twitter. “Just got back to Vancouver, so expect to see me at the tables again (and here). Hope the extended break killed my run-bad.”
