Peter Olsen wins WPT National Madrid

Peter Olsen has won the latest World Poker Tour National Event in Madrid. The Dane outlasted a 166 field at the Spanish capital's Gran Casino to pocket a first prize of €60,000. Not bad for someone playing in his first ever live tournament.

The online qualifier sealed victory after beating home favourite Raul Mestre heads up, coming from behind with K5 to beat the Spaniard's KJ after spiking an unlikely 5 on the river.

The final table positions and payouts were as follows:
