Peter Jetten becomes Full Tilt Pro

Tuesday, 11 January 2011

It's been a busy start to 2011 for the big online sites looking to boost their professional teams. After the departures of Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth and addition of Prahlad Friedman at UB.com and the unveiling of Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom at PokerStars comes the news that Peter Jetten has joined Full Tilt.

The 25-year-old Canadian has career tournament earnings of around $2m and is a regular in high stakes cash games. Probably best known for finishing up runner up to Marty Smyth in the 2008 WSOP PLO World Championship event, Jetten has also had deep runs in the Aussie Millions and at the High Roller event at EPT London. He also had a good run at this year's WSOP Main Event, eventually busting out in 54th place for a $160,000 pay day.

It looks like Jetten may not be the only high profile name to hook up with Full Tilt. The sponsorless Phil Hellmuth recently Tweeted that he was having meetings with Full Tilt and is rumoured to have been out socialising with Howard Lederer. Other sites believed to be in contention for Hellmuth's signature are said to include Facebook favourite Zynga, PokerStars and Bodog.
