Patrik Antonius ends 2009 with $9m profit online

Patrik Antonius is often considered the biggest winner in online poker. He has made millions on European sites plus a recorded eight figures on Full Tilt. Add to this his 2009 winnings which total up as an incredible $8,899,508 according to HSDB.

Antonius was in the black constantly throughout 2009, starting out strong with a $3.8m earning in the first few months. He peaked in November after his epic battle with Isildur1, taking his total to $10m.

However he then lost $4.5m in a single week before earning most of it back to finish just under $9m up. The bulk of his winnings, despite his $937k deficit in the Durrrr Challenge, are in Pot-Limit Omaha; his strongest game.

Despite losing three quarters of a million in Stud games and $1.4m in No-Limit Hold ‘em, his Pot-Limit Hold ‘em (played during mixed Hold ‘em/Omaha games mostly) winnings are over $2,000,000. Add to this $7.6m won in Omaha and Omaha 8 and you arrive at his phenomenal total.

Obviously it’s hard to tally up all his earnings, but his Patrik Antonius account has won over $15m lifetime; Luigi was $3m up and he has countless other seven-figure profits. It’s not exaggeration to guess he has probably won over $20m online.
