PartyPoker sends players to Manila for APT

Wednesday, 28 January 2009

Headed by Irish Poker Championship winner, Rory Rees Brennan, 22 players from all around the world who won their seat into the Manila leg of the Asian Poker Tour will be jetting off.

The players won a package that is worth $6,000 and includes accommodation at the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel, the $2,500 + $200 buy-in for the Main Event and $2,500 spending money.

Even if the players fail to take down the $2,700 tournament they still have plenty to look forward to, such as the FHM players’ party.
A PartyPoker.com spokesman said: “Some of the players who qualified for the Asian Poker Tour only invested a few dollars to secure their thriller in Manila. Last year, plenty of the online qualifiers ended up in the money so we’ll be looking for a repeat performance or better!”
