PartyPoker's VIP system looks set to receive a shakeup in April with the removal of their top rewards tier.
Currently offering up to 50% rakeback, PartyPoker’s Palladium Elite level will now be removed along with any other bonuses that allow for greater than 30% rakeback.The move was announced by a site representative on 2+2 last week, who stated: “We have taken the decision to remove the Palladium Elite status from our loyalty scheme and remove all bonuses that pay greater than 30% effective rakeback. We believe the change will allow us to manage our poker room more effectively and ultimately allow for fairer distribution of bonuses across the network.”The decision has been met with shock and disappointment by many forum members, however, the site has moved to assure everyone that the move is in the best interests of all players.
