Monday, 4 October 2010

The PartyPoker Premier League makes a very welcome return to Channel 4 screens tonight with the first of 20 episodes airing at 12.45am. The event sees 11 top pros and one online qualifier competing in a series of sit and go matches with $1.5m in prize money up for grabs.

With the likes of Luke “FullFlush” Schwartz, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Roland de Wolfe and Tony G viewers can expect plenty of chat as well as top class poker action.

"The world's best players and biggest entertainers playing deep stack poker and battling it out for $1.25 million," said Matchroom Sport's managing director Eddie Hearn. "The play was on another level to anything I ever seen before and the intensity of the competition and growing rivalries make the PLP compelling viewing. The World is in for a real treat in 2010."
